1. Your personal information
During the booking process you send to us some personal information (including, but not limited to your name, phone number and e-mail address). With the use of booking system we forward this to service providers (e.g. airlines). As far as we know, most of this information and some other important data from your booking is also forwarded to aviation and security authorities of your origin, destination and/or transfer countries (e.g APIS-data). To other parties we do not send your personal data (except cases required by law).
2. Your e-mail address
We use your e-mail address added to the booking only for handling of that booking and communication required therein. If you add your e-mail address to our mailing-list then we use it for the promotion of our and our partner's services (doing this we follow opt-in principle). You can any time opt out from our mailing-list. We do not give, sell or any other way hand over your e-mail address to third parties.
3. The use of https-protocol during booking process
During these phases of booking process, when we request or display private information (3. Booking 4. Payment 5. Confirmation) we use https connection between our server and your browser. This means that third parties cannot read and understand the data we send between our servers and you browser. Respectable certification authority (Starfield Technologies) is used to certify the validity of traffic originating from our servers. Should you prefer then you can use https-protocol in the whole purchase process – on our front page just replace http with https in the page address (https://www.piletid.eu).
4. Logging
All requests made to our servers are logged. Detailed logs are used for offering some additional services and should need to debug errors arise. Aggregated logs are used for the analysis of service process, improving the quality of current services and developing new services of our applications and servers. We do not forward logs to third parties (except cases required by law).
5. Cookies
Our websites and applications use cookies (small files that store data on your computer) to handle some parts of customer service process and offer you additional services. We do not disclose information gathered therein to third parties. You can reject cookies by using the functionality provided by the web browser you use. However correct functioning of our web applications require that session-cookies are enabled.
6. Credit Card Payments
We use respectable and experienced third party to provide credit card payments on this website (Pankade Kaardikeskuse AS, a transaction provider located in Estonia). The payment application used by them applies state-of-art methods to protect your data (e.g. encryption all data transfers) and use additional means to authenticate the credit card transaction (MasterCard SecureCode, Verified by Visa). During payment process you are redirected to the secure payment application of Pankade Kaardikeskus and your card data is saved their secure database (we do not handle and save your credit card data). After payment we receive automatic confirmation of the success or failure of payment process (and either automatically issue tickets or in the case of payment failure offer you additional payment possibilities).
